Next week we’re going to see the release of the brand new Cancer Bats album ‘Dead Set On Living’. They’re one of the few bands of mine that have hit album number 4 and that i’ve been a part of for a few years already. The band have gone from strength to strength. From slaying Download and Reading/Leeds appearances to being played on Daytime Radio 1, Cancer Bats are now beginning to become one of the most respected heavy bands in the world.
We wait with baited breath for this record to come out. It feels like this is the album we’ve been waiting to release for the band. The reviews are starting to roll in and they’re everything that we believed this band could be. The respect and adoration the band hold from their fans is incredible. In turn, they are also a band that show their fans a huge amount of respect and gratitude. Frontman, Liam, is always at the merch table no more than 5 minutes after walking off stage. The fact they’re offering fans in London to catch them at 6 intimate shows rather than one large soulless venue is something not many bands will think about.
At the start there was a lot of ‘testing the waters’ between myself and the band as they were part of another pr companies roster and then handed to me. Since then the band have only ever shown myself and my team the utmost respect and attention. For these reasons we salute Cancer Bats and we hope we knock this record for 6!!! They deserve it more than anyone!
